Edwardo Flores
PFC, Army
Edwardo was the second member of the Class of ’66 to be lost in Vietnam. Edwardo reported to his unit just at the start of what is referred to as the Tet 1969 Offensive.
I don’t have any particulars concerning the nature of his loss. His unit was heavily engaged at the time and the indications are that he was lost as the result of grenade or artillery. He arrived in Vietnam 17 days before his 21st birthday and was lost 23 days after his birthday.
